Fairport Containers first established its Textile & Recycling Banks Division in 2014. Originally servicing a small handful of customers, it has increased to a portfolio of over 30 major, national and international charities and recycling companies. Fairport has been a member of the Charity Retail Association for over 3 years, further demonstrating our commitment to the industry.
In addition to the traditional ways of fundraising for your charity, Fairport can provide you with charity banks. This will give you a sustainable and reliable stock of donated items. All to be sold within your charity shops to raise much needed funds. In addition to textiles you can collect wii products, books, toys and other small household items.
By investing in your own textile bank, you can place it in high foot fall prominent areas such as supermarket car parks. This will help to ensure maximum exposure for you charity. You will have to speak to the landowner to get permission to place your bank there. All proceeds
raised from your bank will be entirely your own.
We can offer you refurbished second hand or new manufactured banks. Buying second hand will save you a 1/3 of buying a new manufactured bank. However second hand banks are always in high demand. Don’t wait, check with our team for availability now.
Our three depots offer you nationwide wide refurbishment services and storage facilities. Maintaining the look of your banks ensures your charities core values are clearly communicated to the public and ultimately help to increase your donations.
Your banks will go through a thorough refurbishment process. Every bank is assessed for faults, shot blasted to removed old paint and vinyl’s. Repaired, damaged or faulty parts replaced, painted in your colours and new vinyl’s applied. Then finally our quality control team will do their final checks ensuring that you receive a high quality product.
As part of our comprehensive service for you, we offer full logistical support. Fairport has developed a fleet of specialist flat bed trailers with a rear mounted Hiab, which has a reach of up to 12 meters. This allows us access over walls, fences, barriers and unstable ground.
For areas inaccessible for our vehicle itself, we have a hand held pump truck, enabling the driver to deliver containers anywhere. Due to the Hiab lifting capabilities, banks do not need to be emptied. It has the capacity to transport up to 18 x 4ft clothing banks at any one time. Fairport offers nationwide transport coverage at one standard competitive fee.
Our large number of experienced driving staff provide us and you, with valuable information regarding the state of your banks and the presence of any unauthorised banks on your sites.
Fairport can arrange immediate collection and refurbishment of banks that are in need of urgent attention.
Unauthorised banks can be removed after a period of notification. These banks will be removed from site and disposed of for you.
